About Aminah Keats, ND, FABNO
Licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Board Certified in Naturopathic Oncology
During my senior year in college I learned about naturopathic medicine and was immediately drawn to its principles and gentle, holistic approach to health. After extensively researching this field of medicine and naturopathic medical programs in the country, I took a leap of faith and relocated from New Jersey to Connecticut to attend the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine.
After receiving my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, I completed a two-year, hospital-based residency in integrative oncology at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. I then continued to work as a naturopathic oncology clinician and later directed an integrative oncology department and residency program.
I have practiced naturopathic medicine for 15 years and I am passionate about supporting patients in their path to healing and wellness.
As a fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology, I specialize in integrative oncology care and also maintain a general medicine practice. The modalities that I use include clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, IV nutrient therapy, supplementation, detoxification, homeopathy, and lifestyle counseling.
I hold an active naturopathic medical license in Maryland and maintain a private practice at Capital Integrative Health in Bethesda, Maryland. I also have a private practice and hold a faculty position at Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, Maryland.
I am a member of the Maryland Naturopathic Doctors Association and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
